Al-Mawārīth computes the distribution of your estate under Sunni farāʾiḍ: it assigns the fixed Qurʾānic shares to your entitled heirs, passes the residue to your residuary agnates (ʿaṣabah) in their correct order, and applies ʿawl (proportional reduction), and radd (return of surplus) where needed. It covers every category of heir — from your spouse and children down to your paternal uncle's son — and explains why each person inherits from you or is excluded.
The calculation follows the classical Sunni method, drawing on Qurʾān 4:11, 4:12 and 4:176 and the established Sunnah. Where the schools differ — for instance, the grandfather inheriting alongside siblings — or where a case falls outside the ordinary rules, the tool does not guess: it flags the situation and advises you to consult a qualified Imam.
It applies the position broadly agreed across the four Sunni schools, applies ʿawl per the ruling of ʿUmar (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) and the majority, and returns an unclaimed surplus by radd to the Qurʾānic heirs (excluding the spouse). The full logic has been prepared for scholarly review.
